I'm taking care of myself.
I saw my wonderful doc this afternoon, for my knee. She wasn't very encouraging about it being a minor injury. And it's also time to catch up on other things. Wednesday I have a consult for my upcoming follow-up colonoscopy. Thursday morning I see the dentist. Thursday afternoon I have an MRI of my knee, as well as an x-ray of it, and my regular yearly diagnostic mammograms. If I get to the hospital early enough, I can also have my fasting bloodwork done.
On Wednesday I will learn how to give my dog her allergy shots.
Can't say I enjoy all this attention.

A colonoscopy? For a knee problem!? I'd find a new doctor. Hopefully it won't keep you off the beach long - hey have you seen any grays over there yet? There were a few on the ferry lanes the other day.

Had one of those follow-up c thingies. That was because the first one i tried to do without any mild sedation because I just had to get back to the office and do all that really important work, doncha know.
People, never ever refuse the mild sedation if you're having one of these things. You really don't need to operate that heavy machinery or drive that car afterwards. Believe me.

Yeesh, no kiddin'. Good luck to you! I hate hospitals and doctors. I think we're in the dark ages in medical terms, and one day we'll just be able to take a pill and it will all be better.
