going home

Today, after a week of rest and relaxation, we're heading from Shangrila to Brigadoon. This is our second visit to this part of Vancouver Island. Something tells me it will become our default "getaway" location. It's not far from home, after all: a lovely 50-mile drive, a picturesque 90-minute ferry, and another hour's drive.

I hate to leave this lovely house, but I am looking forward to being home once again.
